Virtual Mini-Retreat: Song, Ritual, Food and Art
Join a live online circle weaving simple ritual, group song, vinaigrette-making and meditative Zentangle drawing.
Why it caught our eye
The programme treats everyday making as a communal practice: voice, food and drawing each offer a different way to participate. Receiving the materials in advance makes the online format tangible rather than purely screen-based.
About this experience
Turn an afternoon at home into a playful shared retreat with Rev. Erica Crystal Jade and Elizabeth Mullin. This live online gathering brings together ritual, song, hands-on food preparation and meditative drawing, with a mailed care package supplying the main ingredients and art materials.
What you can expect
You will take part in a supportive song circle, make vinaigrette alongside the hosts and explore Zentangle, a meditative doodling practice built from repeated patterns. The organisers also guide ritual and shared creative play. No previous experience is required for any activity.
Good to know before you go
Registration is limited to participants in the continental United States because the care package is sent by priority mail one week before the event. Have a clean sealable container ready for the vinaigrette; greens or bread are optional. Tickets are non-refundable and sales close on 30 October 2026. Community-supported USD 27 tickets are limited; general participation is USD 97 and sponsorship tickets are USD 147.
