Why Am I Like This Around You? A Women’s Somatic Workshop
Explore body cues and boundaries with gentle movement, breathing and reflection in this live online workshop for women.
Why it caught our eye
The focus on small, recognisable moments gives boundary work a practical starting point: noticing what happens in your body before deciding how to respond.
About this experience
A tight jaw, a held breath, an answer you did not mean to give: difficult conversations can show up in the body before words arrive. Jenny Hennek and Melyssa Corcoran invite women to explore these moments through somatic practice, which means paying attention to bodily sensations, breath and movement.
What you can expect
You will explore anticipation before an interaction, the signals you notice during it, and what you need afterwards. Gentle movement, comfortable breathing, guided body awareness and reflection make room to practise pausing and sensing a yes, a no or a need for a moment. Conversation is part of the workshop; sharing is always optional.
