Wisdom of Happiness: Screening, Meditation and Conversation
Watch Wisdom of Happiness with Meaningful Movies Project, then join a live guided meditation and conversation about peace and compassion.
Why it caught our eye
The screening makes room for participation after watching: meditation and a shared conversation carry the film’s questions into the gathering itself.
About this experience
Come together online for a free community screening of Wisdom of Happiness. Through a recorded conversation with Tenzin Gyatso, the Dalai Lama, the film explores peace, compassion and hope amid uncertainty.
What you can expect
After the film, take part in a live guided meditation and a conversation about its themes. Meaningful Movies Project’s high-school interns help moderate the discussion with volunteers and board members, considering how they cultivate peace and compassion in their own lives.
Good to know before you go
Join through Zoom. Admission is free, and optional donations support Meaningful Movies Project’s community screenings. Students, educators, families and other community members are welcome. Technical rooms open early, and the screening begins promptly. The Dalai Lama appears in the recorded film.
