Yin Yoga with Livia Schnyder: a slower practice in Wetzikon

Explore supported, longer-held Yin Yoga postures with Livia Schnyder at Ananda Yoga in Wetzikon. Newcomers and experienced practitioners are welcome.

Why it caught our eye

The use of cushions, bolsters and blocks makes the workshop’s approach tangible: a chance to explore sustained postures and attentive stillness, rather than move quickly between poses.

About this experience

Make time for a quieter way of practising yoga with Livia Schnyder at Ananda Yoga. You’ll explore seated and lying postures, staying with each for longer while blocks, bolsters and cushions support the body. This workshop welcomes newcomers as well as people who want to deepen an existing practice. The slower pace leaves room to notice what happens when you remain in a posture, including moments that can feel physically or mentally challenging.

What you can expect

Livia guides a Yin Yoga practice mainly seated or lying down. Props support the longer-held postures as you explore this quieter dimension of yoga. The organiser explicitly welcomes different levels, including people trying Yin Yoga for the first time. Livia is listed by Ananda Yoga as a qualified SYV/EYU yoga teacher.

Good to know before you go

The full workshop ticket costs CHF 50. The course runs with at least five participants; participation fees can be refunded until 48 hours before the start. The main practice room is on the fourth floor at Bahnhofstrasse 156, 8620 Wetzikon. Longer holds can be physically and mentally challenging.
