Yin Yoga in English with Charlotte
A 75-minute English-language Yin class with Charlotte at VOLTA YOGA St. Johann in Basel.
Why it caught our eye
Props, variations and calm guidance make longer holds approachable while preserving the quiet, observant quality of Yin practice.
What you can expect
Postures are held passively for around three to five minutes. Charlotte offers clear verbal guidance, variations and support with props, while mindfulness cues help you settle into stillness. The class is open to all levels, including beginners.
Good to know before you go
The class is taught in English at VOLTA YOGA St. Johann, St. Johanns-Vorstadt 88, on the first basement level. The standard 75-minute drop-in is CHF 25 including VAT; a CHF 15 reduced rate requires eligibility. Mats and props are provided, so comfortable clothing is enough. First-time visitors should arrive at least 10 minutes early. Eversports bookings can be cancelled through your account up to five hours before class; later cancellations are not refunded or credited. Tell Charlotte about health limitations or pregnancy before class and practise within your own limits.
What this is
Charlotte guides a quiet Yin practice in English, using props to support postures held for several minutes. The pace is unhurried, with space to notice breath, sensation and the mind without performance pressure.
