Yin Yoga and Sound with Marlene in Horgen
Settle into longer-held Yin poses, mindful breathing and a closing sound bath at Pure Movement.
Why it caught our eye
The transition from still postures to listening while lying down gives this session a clear, unhurried shape. It is a concrete way to explore both Yin Yoga and sound practice in one visit.
About this experience
Make room for a slower kind of yoga. Marlene Vonmoos guides Yin & Sound at Pure Movement, bringing together quiet, longer-held postures and the sounds of singing bowls. No previous yoga experience is needed.
What you can expect
You will practise passive Yin Yoga positions, staying with each shape for longer and paying attention to your breath. The practice leads into an extended sound bath in Savasana, a resting posture lying down, with singing bowls and other instruments. The group is limited to eight people.
Good to know before you go
Book ahead and pay online by credit card; the organiser requires a health questionnaire before sound sessions. Tell Marlene about health conditions or pregnancy beforehand. Her guidance calls for medical advice with heart or circulation conditions, epilepsy, ear or hearing problems, acute migraine, recent surgery or injury, implants, or first-trimester pregnancy. For serious mental health conditions, trauma or strong emotional distress, consult your clinician or attend with an experienced professional. This practice does not replace medical or therapeutic care.
