A guide for the world we want to live in
After returning from Bali, I found it surprisingly difficult to discover conscious events and meet people with similar interests. I created The Conscious Guide to bring these experiences and communities together in one place, so they are easier for all of us to find.
This guide gives you one place to discover them without already knowing where to look.
Many of these experiences are easy to miss unless you already know the organiser, studio or community behind them.
For people who want to live more consciously. For people who are looking for community. For people who care about healing, nature, animals, movement, spirituality, purpose and a kinder way of being in the world.
Finding your people should not feel so hard.
Conscious living is not limited to what we practise alone at home.
It is also the people we meet, the places we choose, what we support and how we spend our time.
The guide makes those choices easier to find.
A class after work, a retreat when you need space, a place to volunteer when you want to give back, or a gathering that reminds you that you are not alone in wanting more.

Why I created The Conscious Guide
Where the idea began
In 2024, I travelled to Bali and fell in love with Ubud. I loved the warmth of Balinese culture and how present it felt in daily life, with offerings outside homes and shops, temples all around, and a strong connection to ritual, spirituality and nature.
Places such as The Yoga Barn and Pyramids of Chi offered yoga, meditation, sound healing and workshops, while smaller studios and facilitators offered breathwork, dance, ceremonies and talks. There was always something happening and it was easy to try something new.
What I loved most was how normal it felt to care about healing, self-discovery, purpose and spiritual growth. It was easy to meet people who were interested in the same things. I didn't have to search very hard or explain why these things mattered to me.
Coming back to Europe
When I returned to Europe, I knew these communities were here, but finding them was different. Unless I already knew the right organiser or page to follow, I often had no idea what was happening nearby.
I wanted one place where I could see what was happening, understand what each experience offered and decide whether it felt right for me. I also wanted it to be easier to find people who shared similar interests and values.
My original vision
My first idea was to create a physical village by the sea in Europe: a place where people could practise, learn, heal, volunteer, eat plant-based food, spend time in nature and meet others who wanted to live more consciously. I wanted deeply to create it, but I didn't yet have the resources to build something on that scale.
The dream returned in a new form
Two years later, the dream returned in a different form. I realised the community didn't need to begin in one physical place. It could begin by making the people and experiences already around us easier to find.
The Conscious Guide was born to connect the people creating these experiences with the people searching for them. This is how I can begin building that village now: without walls or a fixed location, but with the same purpose of bringing people together.
My hope is that it helps conscious communities grow locally, brings us closer to one another and helps us create a little more heaven on Earth, together.
