Wild Women Gathering: Awakening Pleasure in Zürich

An afternoon for women at Schulhaus Hirschengraben in Zürich, with live music running throughout, guided embodiment practice and honest sharing in a circle. From CHF 68, doors at 12:30.

Why it caught our eye

Most women's events promise connection and deliver a talk. This one is built the other way round: the afternoon happens in the body rather than the head, and the live music runs through all of it rather than bookending it. The structure is unusually clear for something this experiential — arrival, teaching, sharing, break, embodiment practice, then time to work out what you actually want to carry home. It is also refreshingly unfussy about who belongs there, welcoming women from their twenties to their seventies, and mothers who need to bring a baby.

What you can expect

Doors at 12:30 so you can arrive and settle before the 13:00 start. The afternoon runs in four movements: an opening teaching on pleasure and why most women were taught to put it last; guided sharing and practice in the group; a break with tea and something to eat; then the embodiment practice at the heart of the day, working with receiving rather than doing. It closes at 18:00 with a final share and time to gather what you want to take home. Live music runs through the whole afternoon, played by Laia Pascual on handpan, flute, kora, synthesiser, percussion and voice. Nothing is done in the head — the practices are physical, and no experience is needed.

Good to know before you go

Saturday 26 September 2026. Doors 13:00, starts 13:00, closes 18:00. Schulhaus Hirschengraben, Hirschengraben 46, 8001 Zürich — in the historic centre. From CHF 68, and you choose your price at checkout. A combined ticket with Alice Hong's separate Yoni Temple day in November is CHF 399. Women and female-identifying people of any age. The organiser says women aged 25 to 70 typically attend. There is no minimum age and teenagers are welcome, though the subject matter and language are aimed at adults. You may bring a baby or child provided they are not disruptive for others. Mobility needs are accommodated, and the organiser explicitly welcomes anyone pregnant, injured or simply low on energy to come and rest rather than participate fully. Tea and something to eat are provided at the break. All registrations are final and there are no refunds, but you may transfer your ticket to someone else by emailing the organiser with both names. This is a personal-development and spiritual gathering, not therapy or medical treatment, and it does not replace psychological care. Sessions of this kind can involve exercises done with a partner or in a group, and material that is personal. Nothing is compulsory: you set your own limits, you can step out of any exercise, and consent is asked for before any touch. If you are unsure what an exercise involves, ask the facilitator before it begins.
